T Touch Class
4 Week T Touch Class Starting August 16th Mondays at 7:15pm – 8:15pm. (no class Sept. 5th)
The T Touch Method is a gentle approach to influencing behavior, health, and performance, created by Linda Tellington-Jones. Learn the T Touch techniques for overcoming fear and aggression in your dog. Great for dogs that growl, bite, and are timid and shy. The intention of these techniques is to build confidence, instill obedience, and develop an animals ability and willingness to learn.

Free Cats for Adoption!!!
How much is that Kitty in the window? FREE
Multnomah County Animal Services is ready to make a deal! With hundreds of cats crowding the Troutdale shelter, the county has eliminated the adoption fee for mature cats (one year or older). All you have to pay is the $8 license fee. All cats come spayed or neutered with current vaccinations. Donations are welcome.

Along with these suggestions, it is always a good idea to equip your dog with a temporary address if you are out of town, or an address for them to be taken to in an emergency. Last be not least, you can always use poop bags where ever you go.
Local Fair
The Local fair was a huge success. Thanks to all of your kind donations, The Pongo Fund recieved $1500 in food and money.
Thank you to all of the vendors who took time out of their schedule to make this first annual Local Fair a success.
Plucky Puppy Training Class
Kinderpuppy 1 Thursdays at 7:15 pm. Starting May 27th
Pluckypuppy is starting a six week beginning obedience and socialization course, designed especially for puppies between 8 and 20 weeks. Basic obedience training (sit, down, stay, come….) as well as problem prevention (biting, barking, chewing), using positive reinforcement. Socialization helps prevent future dog-aggression.

Basic Manners Sundays at 5:15. Starting July 11th.
This six week class is a beginning obedience, designed for dogs 4 months and older. Basic commands will be covered as well as problem-behavior prevention using positive reinforcement. Refer to pluckypuppy for more information.

The Pongo Fund
The Pongo fund is an all volunteer, non-profit public charity, and the only program specifically designed to consistently provide quality dog and cat food for the animals of anyone in need.
